Derby news………

Whenever you visit this site, check the ‘Blog’ page for updates and stories on the 2019 derby…..

Local teams responded to our call out and built carts to show it off and race round the course. On Monday Bank holiday May 6th in the Lower Park in Telegraph Hill South London, a team of local volunteers transformed the park into a high speed race track. The crowds came and revelled in the atmosphere and spectacle. There were crashes and stunningly speedy runs with most cart teams having two runs down the steep and winding slopes of our beautiful park. Fortunately there were no serious injuries. If you want to see more then check out our blog page and look on Instagram at the ‘telegraphhillsoapboxderby’ page.

If you attended and would like to contribute or want to help with financing future derby incarnations, we have a ‘JustGiving’ page aiming to help raise money. All donations will be most gratefully received.
